Thursday's
Child is an exquisite struggle of conquering one's inner demons
in order to live a powerful life instead of barely surviving.
Brian
Woodson is a successful business man battling severe clinical
depression that threatens to destroy him. Daily he fights
against severe suicidal impulses. Brian is in therapy and
taking anti-depressants, but the murky abyss that consumes
his spirit doesn't lift. Brian continues to take the anti-depressants
even though the side-effects crush what is left of his depression-afflicted
libido.
Lara
his long-term girlfriend thinks the solution is as easy as
buying a house together and moving Brian out of his desolate
apartment. James, his best friend, urges him to follow his
dreams and passions of writing. Krystal his new beautiful,
artistic neighbor is present to the brilliance in Brian and
steers him on a path of self-discovery. Brian constantly wrestles
with his disease, dreams, and his ever-declining self-worth.
Brian
stops reaching to the external world to patch his soul's bleeding
wounds. He reaches deep into the miracle of the human spirit
to heal himself. However when tragedy strikes, the world as
Brian knows it crumbles. He is left with the choice of diving
into overwhelming darkness leading him to his certain death,
or embracing the light of the human spirit receiving resounding
strength to live a powerful life.
